• Government e Marketplace (GeM) has facilitated disposal of government assets through its Forward Auction module, introducing online competitive bidding and improving transparency. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that the module has facilitated auctions worth more than 2,200 crore rupees.

• President Droupadi Murmu has given assent to the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (Viksit Bharat-G RAM G) Bill, 2025. The Parliament had earlier passed it during the winter session.

• India has clarified that there was no attempt to breach the fence or create a security situation by protesters gathered outside the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi.

• Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has asserted that recently notified Petroleum and Natural Gas Rules 2025 will introduce a paradigm shift in India’s quest to strengthen and boost domestic production of hydrocarbons.

• Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan participated in the commemorative programme “Shunya Se Shatak: Ek Shatabdi Atal Bharat Ki” marking the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Indore on Sunday.

• Amnesty International’s South Asia Regional Office has raised concerns over the detention of journalist Sohrab Barkat, who was reportedly targeted by Pakistani authorities for alleged criticism of state institutions online.

• राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने रोजगर और अजीविका मिशन (ग्रामीन) (विक्सिट भारत-जी राम जी) विधेयक, 2025 के लिए विक्सिट भारत-गारंटी को मंजूरी दे दी है। संसद ने इससे पहले शीतकालीन सत्र के दौरान इसे पारित किया था।
