• केंद्रीय श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्री डॉ. मनसुख मंडाविया ने नई दिल्ली में राज्य श्रम मंत्रियों और राज्य उद्योग मंत्रियों के साथ एक वर्चुअल उच्च स्तरीय बैठक की। बैठक का उद्देश्य कार्यान्वयन के तौर-तरीकों पर विचार-विमर्श करना था।
• वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कहा कि सरकार वन डिस्ट्रिक्ट वन प्रोडक्ट (ओडीओपी) के तहत पहली बार निर्यात करने वालों और नए बाजारों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए नए दिशानिर्देश जारी करेगी।
• भारतीय मौसम विभाग (आईएमडी) ने आज देश के उत्तर-पश्चिम, पूर्व और मध्य भागों में बहुत भारी से लेकर अत्यंत भारी बारिश का अनुमान लगाया है। आईएमडी के अनुसार, छत्तीसगढ़, राजस्थान, ओडिशा, गंगा पश्चिम बंगाल, झारखंड में अगले दो दिनों में भारी वर्षा होगी।
• विमानन नियामक नागरिक उड्डयन महानिदेशालय (डीजीसीए) ने एयरलाइंस ऑपरेटरों को इस महीने की २१ तारीख तक बोइंग ७८७, ७३७ विमानों सहित ईंधन स्विच लॉकिंग सिस्टम की जांच करने का आदेश दिया है।
• केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने कर्नाटक के शिवमोग्गा जिले के सागर तालुक में शरावती बैकवाटर पर भारत के दूसरे सबसे लंबे केबल-आधारित सिगंदुर पुल का उद्घाटन किया।
• भारतीय बुलियन बाजार में २४ कैरेट सोना ०.२३ फीसदी बढ़कर ९८,४४० रुपये प्रति १० ग्राम पर कारोबार कर रहा था, जबकि सिल्वर ९९९ फाइन भी कल १.२३ फीसदी बढ़कर १,१४,६६० रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम पर कारोबार कर रहा था।

• चालू वित्त वर्ष २०२४/२५ के पहले ग्यारह महीनों में नेपाल का कुल घाटा ६.३ फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी के साथ १३९७.२३ अरब रुपये तक पहुंच गया है। समीक्षा अवधि के दौरान व्यापक आर्थिक और वित्तीय स्थिति पर नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंक की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, माल आयात में १३.१ प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हुई।
• दक्षिणी सीरिया में, स्वेदा प्रांत में ड्रुज़ मिलिशिया और बेडौइन जनजातियों के बीच बढ़ती झड़पों में पिछले दो दिनों में कम से कम 89 लोग मारे गए और लगभग 200 अन्य घायल हो गए।
