Country’s retail inflation moderated to eight year low of 1.54 per cent in September this year, down from 2.07 percent recorded in August 2025. According to data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, it is the lowest year-on-year inflation rate after June 2017.

- Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Amir Khan Muttaqi said that India should engage with the US for lifting sanctions on the Chabahar port. Speaking at an interactive session with the industry representatives in New Delhi, he asserted that it is in favour of the optimum utilisation.

- The UAE has announced a 10 million US dollars contribution to strengthen community resilience against natural disasters across Asia and the Pacific. The initiative, launched through the UAE Aid Agency, will support Emirates Nature- WWF in partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
- Maldives has become the first country in the world to achieve triple elimination of mother-to-child transmission of hepatitis B, HIV and syphilis.

- The All India Football Federation (AIFF) adopted the Supreme Court-approved constitution at its Special General Body Meeting at the AIFF Football House in New Delhi. Earlier, on the 19th of September, the Supreme Court had approved the draft constitution of the AIFF prepared by former SC judge.
- In Hockey, the junior Indian team registered a comfortable 4-2 win over New Zealand in the Sultan of Johor Cup 2025 at the Taman Daya Hockey Stadium in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

• श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्री डॉ. मनसुख मंडाविया ने विश्वास योजना का शुभारंभ किया। इस योजना का उद्देश्य कर्मचारी’भविष्य निधि और विविध प्रावधान अधिनियम के तहत तर्कसंगत दंडात्मक क्षतिपूर्ति लागू करके मुकदमेबाजी को कम करना है।
• पेंशन एवं पेंशनभोगी कल्याण विभाग अगले महीने की पहली से 30 तारीख तक चौथा राष्ट्रव्यापी डिजिटल जीवन प्रमाणपत्र (डीएलसी) अभियान चलाएगा। यह अभियान देश भर के दो हजार जिलों और उप-विभागीय मुख्यालयों को कवर करेगा।
• देश की खुदरा मुद्रास्फीति इस साल सितंबर में घटकर आठ साल के निचले स्तर 1.54 प्रतिशत पर आ गई, जो अगस्त 2025 में दर्ज 2.07 प्रतिशत से कम है। सांख्यिकी एवं कार्यक्रम कार्यान्वयन मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार, यह जून 2017 के बाद सबसे कम वर्ष-दर-वर्ष मुद्रास्फीति दर है।
• स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय ने आज कार्डियोपल्मोनरी रिससिटेशन (सीपीआर) जागरूकता सप्ताह का उद्घाटन किया, जिसका समापन इस महीने की 17 तारीख को होगा।
• सरकार ने कर्मचारियों के सामाजिक सुरक्षा कवरेज का विस्तार करने के लिए कर्मचारी नामांकन अभियान 2025 शुरू किया है। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य नियोक्ताओं को स्वेच्छा से पात्र कर्मचारियों की घोषणा करने और उन्हें नामांकित करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना है।
• सरकार ने भारत-एआई इम्पैक्ट समिट २०२६ के तहत तीन वैश्विक प्रभाव चुनौतियों के लिए आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं, जिसमें कुल पांच करोड़ ८५ लाख रुपये का पुरस्कार है।

• अखिल भारतीय फुटबॉल महासंघ (एआईएफएफ) ने नई दिल्ली स्थित एआईएफएफ फुटबॉल हाउस में अपनी विशेष आम सभा की बैठक में सर्वोच्च न्यायालय द्वारा अनुमोदित संविधान को अपनाया। इससे पहले १९ सितंबर को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पूर्व एससी जज द्वारा तैयार एआईएफएफ के संविधान के मसौदे को मंजूरी दी थी।
