• विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस. जयशंकर आज से 15 जुलाई तक सिंगापुर और चीन का दौरा करेंगे। सिंगापुर में डॉ. जयशंकर दोनों देशों के बीच नियमित आदान-प्रदान के तहत अपने समकक्ष और सिंगापुर के नेतृत्व से मुलाकात करेंगे।
• विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) ने पारंपरिक चिकित्सा, विशेषकर आयुष प्रणालियों के साथ कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (एआई) को एकीकृत करने में भारत के अग्रणी प्रयासों को मान्यता दी है।
• चुनाव आयोग ने आज कहा कि उसने बिहार के लगभग सभी मतदाताओं से सीधा संपर्क स्थापित कर लिया है और राज्य के 80.11 प्रतिशत मतदाताओं ने पहले ही अपने गणना फॉर्म, ईएफ जमा कर दिए हैं। आयोग ने कहा कि वह निर्धारित समय से काफी पहले गणना फॉर्म का संग्रह पूरा करने के लिए आगे बढ़ रहा है।

Taiwan has begun deploying U.S.-supplied High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) during its 10-day Han Kuang military exercise, aimed at bolstering defences against China. HIMARS units were seen operating in Taichung, central Taiwan.

World Meteorological Organization said that sand and dust storms now affect over 330 million people in more than 150 countries, causing mounting harm to health, economies, and the environment. The UN body said, about 2 billion tons of dust are emitted annually.

• यू.एस राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प ने 1 अगस्त से मैक्सिको और यूरोपीय संघ से आयात पर 30 प्रतिशत टैरिफ लगा दिया। नए टैरिफ की घोषणा ट्रुथ सोशल पर पोस्ट किए गए अलग-अलग पत्रों में की गई थी।
• ताइवान ने अपने 10 दिवसीय हान कुआंग सैन्य अभ्यास के दौरान अमेरिका द्वारा आपूर्ति की गई हाई मोबिलिटी आर्टिलरी रॉकेट सिस्टम (HIMARS) की तैनाती शुरू कर दी है, जिसका उद्देश्य चीन के खिलाफ सुरक्षा को मजबूत करना है। HIMARS इकाइयों को मध्य ताइवान के ताइचुंग में काम करते देखा गया।
• विश्व मौसम विज्ञान संगठन ने कहा कि रेत और धूल के तूफान अब 150 से अधिक देशों में 330 मिलियन से अधिक लोगों को प्रभावित कर रहे हैं, जिससे स्वास्थ्य, अर्थव्यवस्था और पर्यावरण को भारी नुकसान हो रहा है। संयुक्त राष्ट्र निकाय ने कहा कि प्रतिवर्ष लगभग 2 अरब टन धूल उत्सर्जित होती है।
• अमेरिका में, संघीय कार्यबल को कम करने के ट्रम्प प्रशासन के प्रयासों के तहत 1,000 से अधिक विदेश विभाग के कर्मचारियों को नौकरी से निकाल दिया गया है।
