• केंद्रीय बंदरगाह, नौवहन और जलमार्ग मंत्री सरबानंद सोनोवाल ने पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र में जलमार्ग और समुद्री क्षेत्र को बढ़ावा देने के लिए पांच हजार करोड़ रुपये की पहल की घोषणा की।
• आगामी जनगणना के दौरान स्व-गणना के लिए एक विशेष समर्पित वेब पोर्टल उपलब्ध होगा। यह जनगणना-2027 के दोनों चरणों के लिए उपलब्ध होगा। सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट की एक श्रृंखला में भारत के रजिस्ट्रार जनरल और जनगणना आयुक्त ने कहा कि यह देश की पहली डिजिटल जनगणना होगी।
• केंद्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण राज्य मंत्री डॉ. एल मुरुगन ने चेन्नई में स्वच्छ भारत समृद्धि भारत के अंतर्गत ईएसआई लाभार्थियों के लिए चिकित्सा जांच शिविर का उद्घाटन किया।
• सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने मतदान के लिए बाध्य बिहार में मतदाता सूचियों का विशेष गहन संशोधन (एसआईआर) करने के चुनाव आयोग के निर्णय को चुनौती देने वाली याचिकाओं पर सुनवाई करने पर सहमति व्यक्त की। यह मामला 10 जुलाई को उठाया जाएगा।

In US, the risk level for flooding rain in parts of central Texas has been upgraded from a level 2-of-4 to a level 3-of-4. According to the Weather Prediction Center, the upgraded area includes parts of hard-hit Kerr County and portions of the Guadalupe and Llano river basins.
