India’s retail inflation rose to 0.71 per cent in November this year on an annual basis, up from a record low of 0.25 per cent recorded in October. According to data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, inflation in rural areas edged up to 0.1 per cent, and to 1.4 per in urban areas.

• भारत की खुदरा मुद्रास्फीति इस वर्ष नवंबर में वार्षिक आधार पर बढ़कर 0.71 प्रतिशत हो गई, जो अक्टूबर में दर्ज 0.25 प्रतिशत के रिकॉर्ड निम्नतम स्तर से अधिक है। सांख्यिकी एवं कार्यक्रम कार्यान्वयन मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार, ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में मुद्रास्फीति 0.1 प्रतिशत तक बढ़ गयी, तथा शहरी क्षेत्रों में 1.4 प्रतिशत तक पहुंच गयी।
• कलकत्ता उच्च न्यायालय ने आज स्कूल सेवा आयोग को निर्देश दिया कि वह उन अधिक आयु वर्ग के अभ्यर्थियों से साक्षात्कार कराए, जो 2016 की स्कूल सेवा आयोग (एसएससी) परीक्षा में प्रतीक्षा सूची में थे, तथा जिन्होंने इस वर्ष पुनः परीक्षा सफलतापूर्वक उत्तीर्ण की है।
