• राजस्व खुफिया निदेशालय (डीआरआई) ने राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र में सक्रिय अवैध अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में लगभग 109 करोड़ रुपये के ड्रग नेटवर्क का भंडाफोड़ किया है। 21 से 23 तारीख तक चलाए गए समन्वित, बहु-दिवसीय अभियान में लगभग 26 विदेशी नागरिकों को गिरफ्तार किया गया।
• महाराष्ट्र के राज्यपाल आचार्य देवव्रत और महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने आज मुंबई में ‘मोदी मिशन’ नामक पुस्तक का विमोचन किया। यह पुस्तक प्रसिद्ध वकील बर्जिस देसाई द्वारा लिखी गई है।
• भारतीय मौसम विभाग (आईएमडी) ने आज केरल, तमिलनाडु, अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीपों पर भारी वर्षा का अनुमान लगाया है। अगले दो दिनों के दौरान आंध्र प्रदेश, कर्नाटक, गुजरात, केरल, माहे, कोंकण, गोवा, तमिलनाडु, पुडुचेरी और कराईकल में भी ऐसी ही स्थिति रहने की उम्मीद है।

• त्योहार की भीड़ को देखते हुए अगले तीन दिनों में नौ सौ से अधिक विशेष ट्रेनें चलेंगी। रेल मंत्रालय ने कहा, दिवाली और छठ उत्सव मनाने के बाद लौटने वाले यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए छह हजार से अधिक विशेष ट्रेनों को अधिसूचित किया गया है।
