In view of the terrorist attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, a decision has been taken to scale down the ceremonial display during the Retreat Ceremony at Attari in Amritsar, Hussainiwala in Ferozepur and Sadki in Fazilka, in Punjab.

India has achieved a record of over 145 million tonnes of cargo movement on inland waterways in 2024-25. The Cargo traffic on National Waterways was around 18 million metric tonnes in 2014-15.

India has decided to suspend visa services to Pakistani nationals with immediate effect in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack. All existing valid visas issued by India to Pakistani nationals will also be revoked with effect from 27th of this month.

• पहलगाम आतंकी हमले के मद्देनजर सेना प्रमुख जनरल उपेंद्र द्विवेदी आज जम्मू-कश्मीर का दौरा करेंगे। सूत्रों ने बताया कि सेना प्रमुख क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा स्थिति की समीक्षा करेंगे।
• कश्मीर के पहलगाम में आतंकवादी हमले के मद्देनजर पंजाब में अमृतसर के अटारी, फिरोजपुर के हुसैनीवाला और फाजिल्का के सादकी में रिट्रीट समारोह के दौरान रस्मी प्रदर्शन को कम करने का फैसला किया गया है।
• भारत ने २०२४-२५ में अंतर्देशीय जलमार्गों पर १४५ मिलियन टन से अधिक कार्गो आवाजाही का रिकॉर्ड हासिल किया है। राष्ट्रीय जलमार्ग पर कार्गो यातायात २०१४-१५ में लगभग १८ मिलियन मीट्रिक टन था।
• भारत ने पहलगाम आतंकी हमले के मद्देनजर पाकिस्तानी नागरिकों को वीजा सेवाएं तत्काल प्रभाव से निलंबित करने का फैसला किया है। पाकिस्तानी नागरिकों को भारत द्वारा जारी किए गए सभी मौजूदा वैध वीजा भी इस महीने की २७ तारीख से रद्द कर दिए जाएंगे।
• विश्व टीकाकरण सप्ताह के पहले दिन नई दिल्ली में राष्ट्रीय शून्य खसरा-रूबेला उन्मूलन अभियान २०२५-२६ शुरू किया गया।

South Korea’s former president Moon Jae-in has been indicted on charges of alleged bribery. The Jeonju District Prosecutors’ Office said Moon was indicted for corruption for receiving 152,000 dollars in connection with facilitating the employment of his son-in-law at an airline.

• विश्व बैंक ने २०२४ में श्रीलंका के आर्थिक प्रदर्शन की प्रशंसा की है, यह देखते हुए कि देश ने उद्योग और पर्यटन में मजबूत प्रदर्शन से प्रेरित पांच प्रतिशत की विकास दर के साथ अपेक्षाओं को पार कर लिया है।
• भारत इस महीने की 26 तारीख को, परमधर्मपीठ के सर्वोच्च पोंटिफ, पोप फ्रांसिस के अंतिम संस्कार के दिन, राजकीय शोक मनाएगा। एक बयान में गृह मंत्रालय ने कहा कि पूरे भारत में सभी इमारतों पर राष्ट्रीय ध्वज आधा झुका रहेगा।
• चीन ने संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका के साथ टैरिफ वार्ता की रिपोर्टों का खंडन करते हुए कहा कि व्यापार विवाद में प्रगति के दावों के लिए “का कोई तथ्यात्मक आधार नहीं है। चीन के विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता गुओ जियाकुन ने संवाददाताओं से कहा कि कोई बातचीत नहीं चल रही है और कोई समझौता नजर नहीं आ रहा है।
• दक्षिण कोरिया के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति मून जे-इन पर कथित रिश्वतखोरी के आरोप लगाए गए हैं। जोंजू जिला अभियोजक कार्यालय ने कहा कि मून पर एक एयरलाइन में अपने दामाद के रोजगार की सुविधा के संबंध में 152,000 डॉलर प्राप्त करने के लिए भ्रष्टाचार का आरोप लगाया गया था।
