India’s para powerlifter Joby Mathew has won a bronze medal at the Para Powerlifting World Championships 2025 in Cairo, Egypt. Competing in the 65kg Legend (Masters) category, Mathew recorded a total lift of 300kg, successfully lifting 148kg and 152kg.

• सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने नई दिल्ली स्थित स्विस संघीय आर्थिक मामले, शिक्षा एवं अनुसंधान विभाग के प्रतिनिधिमंडल के साथ बातचीत की।
• भारतीय मौसम विभाग (आईएमडी) ने कल केरल, माहे, तमिलनाडु पुडुचेरी और कराईकल में भारी बारिश की नारंगी चेतावनी जारी की है। मौसम विभाग ने आंध्र प्रदेश, कर्नाटक और लक्षद्वीप में भारी वर्षा की भविष्यवाणी की है।
• तेलुगु सिनेमा की पहली पार्श्व गायिका के रूप में प्रतिष्ठित वरिष्ठ अभिनेत्री और गायिका रावू बालासरस्वती देवी का हैदराबाद स्थित उनके निवास पर निधन हो गया। वह 97 वर्ष की थीं।
• अनुभवी अभिनेता पंकज धीर, जिन्हें बीआर में कर्ण की भूमिका निभाने के लिए जाना जाता है। चोपड़ा के मशहूर टीवी शो महाभारत का कैंसर से लड़ने के बाद ६८ साल की उम्र में मुंबई में निधन हो गया।
