The US has revoked visas for all South Sudanese passport holders and will deny them entry, citing the country’s refusal to accept deported citizens. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said South Sudan’s government is taking advantage of the United States by not cooperating with repatriations.

• ब्राजील ने वैश्विक जलवायु कार्रवाई में तेजी लाने के लिए एक नई अंतरराष्ट्रीय संस्था के निर्माण का प्रस्ताव दिया है। यह योजना नवंबर २०२५ में उत्तरी ब्राजील के एक शहर बेलेम में इस साल के संयुक्त राष्ट्र जलवायु सम्मेलन (पार्टियों का सम्मेलन – सीओपी३०) से पहले साझा की गई है।
• अमेरिका ने निर्वासित नागरिकों को स्वीकार करने से देश के इनकार का हवाला देते हुए सभी दक्षिण सूडानी पासपोर्ट धारकों के लिए वीजा रद्द कर दिया है और उन्हें प्रवेश से वंचित कर देगा। विदेश मंत्री मार्को रुबियो ने कहा कि दक्षिण सूडान की सरकार स्वदेश वापसी में सहयोग न करके संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका का फायदा उठा रही है।
