• महाराष्ट्र सरकारी संस्थानों और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में उपग्रह-आधारित इंटरनेट सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए स्टारलिंक सैटेलाइट कम्युनिकेशंस प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के साथ समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर करने वाला भारत का पहला राज्य बन गया है।
• भारतीय मौसम विभाग (आईएमडी) ने इस महीने की 8 तारीख तक तमिलनाडु में हल्की से मध्यम वर्षा तथा कुछ स्थानों पर भारी वर्षा का अनुमान लगाया है। आईएमडी ने कहा कि कर्नाटक, रायलसीमा, तमिलनाडु, पुडुचेरी के अलग-अलग स्थानों पर बिजली गिरने के साथ तूफान आने की बहुत संभावना है।
• भारत के 56वें अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म महोत्सव, आईएफएफआई को कवर करने के लिए मीडिया मान्यता की समय सीमा 10 नवंबर तक बढ़ा दी गई है। मान्यता प्राप्त मीडियाकर्मियों को फिल्म स्क्रीनिंग, मास्टरक्लास, पैनल चर्चा और प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस सहित विशेष महोत्सव कार्यक्रमों तक पहुंच प्राप्त होगी।
• ६ जी अनुसंधान और विकास पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को मजबूत करने के लिए देश भर में १०० ५ जी लैब्स स्थापित की गई हैं। दूरसंचार सचिव और डिजिटल संचार आयोग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. नीरज मित्तल ने कहा कि दूरसंचार अर्थव्यवस्था का प्रमुख चालक बन गया है और प्रौद्योगिकियों के विकास का समर्थन करता है।

• वाणिज्य और उद्योग राज्य मंत्री, जितिन प्रसाद ने रोमानिया के ब्रासोव में रोमानिया के राज्य सचिव, परिवहन मंत्रालय, होरासिउ लुसियन कोस्मा के साथ बैठक की। एक सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में श्री प्रसाद ने कहा कि उन्होंने बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास में सहयोग के अवसरों पर चर्चा की।
• वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कहा है कि भारत और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच मुक्त व्यापार समझौते पर चल रही वार्ता व्यापार, निवेश और नवाचार संबंधों के विस्तार का मार्ग प्रशस्त करेगी।
• भारत ने छत्तीसगढ़ से पापुआ न्यू गिनी को 20 मीट्रिक टन फोर्टिफाइड चावल का निर्यात किया है। वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय ने कहा कि कृषि एवं प्रसंस्कृत खाद्य उत्पाद निर्यात विकास प्राधिकरण द्वारा फोर्टिफाइड चावल के निर्यात को सुगम बनाया गया है।
• भारत और पुर्तगाल ने लिस्बन में आयोजित भारत-पुर्तगाल विदेश कार्यालय परामर्श में व्यापार और आर्थिक सहयोग, सांस्कृतिक संबंधों और लोगों के बीच संपर्क सहित द्विपक्षीय संबंधों के संपूर्ण दायरे की समीक्षा की है।
• अमेरिका में केंटकी के लुइसविले अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर एक मालवाहक विमान के रनवे से उतरकर आग की लपटों में घिर जाने से सात लोगों की जान चली गई और 11 अन्य घायल हो गए। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि घायलों में से दो की हालत गंभीर है, जबकि आठ अन्य का इलाज किया जा रहा है।
• बांग्लादेश के परिधान निर्यात में लगातार तीसरे महीने गिरावट जारी रही, जो पिछले वर्ष के अशांत निर्यात प्रदर्शन की तुलना में अधिक तीव्र गिरावट है।
