1985 – Mexico City earthquake caused massive devastation killing close to 10,000 people.
1988 – Israel had successfully launched the test satellite Horizon-I.
1991 – natural mummy found lying in snow between the Alpes mountains of Italy. Which was about 5000 years old.
2000 – Karnam Malleswari had won a bronze medal in the weightlifting event at the Olympics.
2002 – Israeli troops had laid siege to Palestine leader Yasser Arafat.
2006 – military coup in Thailand and General Surayud became Prime Minister.
2007 – looking at cyberwar. The US Air Force had formed the Asthmatic Command.
2011 – NASA designed a grand rocket capable of carrying up to 100 tons of weight into space called the Space Launch System (SLS) to send astronauts to other bases in the universe.
